Wiggler # 1 Class

Toddlers: Nurturing the Smallest Members of Our Learning Community

Our program, Wiggler #1, is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for one-year-olds, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. Contact Scribbles Early Learning Center in Brookline, NH at 603-721-5531 for enrollment.

Each Week They Receive

Exploration and Play:

  • Messy Play: Finger painting, water play, and squishy textures.
  • Exploration Baskets: Filled with safe objects like fabric scraps, wooden blocks, and soft balls.
  • Music and Movement: Sing-alongs, dancing, and simple instruments.
  • Outdoor Adventures: Short walks, garden exploration, and fresh air.

Learning happens naturally through play, and our little explorers thrive on discovery.

Language and Communication:

  • We engage in conversations with our tiny learners, describing what we see, hear, and feel.
  • Storytime, rhymes, and baby sign language enhance their communication skills.

Gentle Transitions:

  • We understand that separation anxiety can be tough. Our teachers build trust gradually, ensuring a smooth transition for both child and parent.
  • Comfort items from home (like a favorite blanket) are welcome.

Celebrating Milestones:

  • First steps, first words, and first friendships—every achievement is celebrated!
  • We document these precious moments and share them with parents.

Parent Involvement:

  • We consider parents as partners in this journey. Regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and family events keep everyone connected.
  • We encourage parents to share their child’s interests and preferences.
